I sincerely doubt Alexander Macris is going after anyone's safety and civil rights. That is ridiculous hyperbole.

Agreed. ACKS is a game that addresses a lot of the issues brought up in this thread. If you don't want to look at it, then don't. Doesn't change that it's a good game for its playstyle.

So you're saying your preferences in this regard  should be the focus here? If you prefer other games, or other ways to deal with these issues, how about we all talk about that. I like ACKS, because I think its a good game. You don't have to like it or its creator. I'm fine with moving on to something productive. How about you?

I think the creator of the game and owner of the company did manage the finances of a far right populist and agitator.
That's why we don't hear about ACKS anymore.

Buying the game is funding nazis.
