Good 8, Evil 9 - Evil wins the Exhibition!

Infinitus turns around and looks directly at Hurrycane. He grins wickedly and utters a single word, a word so powerful Hurrycane should be stunned to hear it. Infinitus then moves to 90n30e (carefully moving around the wall of force), bobbing slightly on the water if he has to.

Bottom of Round (new) 48:
The word cuts through Hurrycane's spell defenses like a hot, black, serrated knife. The eldritch globe of light freezes in his motion - his colors swirling more slowly and with less purpose.

OOC:
I2K, I don't understand how Infinitus is "bobbing" on the water. A related question is what the arena's tradition has been about multi-square creatures covering any squares which aren't land.

Once that's resolved, Infinitus gets to start having his evil way with Hurrycane...

Hey, Infinitus's cousin successfully pulled that trick on my cleric in Gansk's game Saturday. Uh-oh is right, but at least Hurrycane has nothing in his hands to drop. :)

OOC1: Btw, Infinitus was the name I attached to (redacted due to RttToEE spoiler) Hedrack's planar ally IMC and a lot of others from Monte's board used the same. He achieved an HPK (3 out of 6) against my group of about 12th-level PCs.

OOC2: Well, 7/9 squares are on land, so I hope he is relatively unaffected. If you decided it was necessary, though, a swim check at the normal DC (10 in this case) would let him 'bob'. I otherwise have no idea how to handle such odd cases. I think Gansk has been using a 'majority' rules type of thing based on where a creature has a majority of its body, which is probably the best choice. I think maybe a circumstance penalty of -2 to attack rolls would be apropos. Keep in mind though that the penalty for being entirely in the water is also -2.

Nevertheless, Infinitus will start off the party with a full round of attacks on Hurrycane. +5 on power attack.

Round 49:
Hurrycane is stunned and takes no actions. (1 round of effect so far...)

Infinitus connects with the eldritch globe with a pincer, a claw, and a bite right to the globe's franistan - but all of the attacks pass straight through the incorporeal form...

Round 50:
Hurrycane is stunned and takes no actions. (2 rounds of effect so far...)

Infinitus' turn for the bottom of Round 50.

OOC for observers to make sure I don't mess anything up:
[sblock]
Infinitus' natural weapons may be chaotic and evil aligned, but they aren't magic and thus have no chance to affect the incorporeal ghaele...
[/sblock]

By the way, only dragons have franistans. :)

Greybar[sblock]You are correct, as long as the glabrezu does not have DR/magic. I am facing one in Gansk's campaign so I cannot look it up.[/sblock]

"Rat farts!"

Infinitus steps back to 70n30e (still in the VZ) and concentrates.

[sblock] A reverse gravity fills up the 10ft square at 110n35e all the way to the roof of the VZ (40ft, so 4 10ft cubes). Note that I don't think Hurrycane will be affected by this at all because "Incorporeal creatures cannot fall or take falling damage."

Agreed on the lack of effect. I knew that to begin with, but Infinitus doesn't. [/sblock]

Round 50:
A large reverse fountain effect happens all around Hurrycane, as stray droplets of water pulls up from 110n35e and 100n40e and fall upward to splatter on the ceiling. The eldritch globe, however, remains floating in the air.

Round 51:
Hurrycane remains stunned and cannot act. (3 rounds of effect so far)

Infinitus's turn to attempt to find some way to effect the ghaele on Round 51...

OOC: The water droplets are merely for colorful effect - at the end of the spell effect the amount of water that will fall back will do nothing more than potentially get a combatant a little wet. If you had placed that Reverse Gravity down into the surface of the water, then we'd get to have a lot of fun as it sucks all water out of the trough until potential energy hit equilibrium. And no, I would not have pulled out any fluid dynamics books, it would have been all GM fiat. ;)

"Double rat farts! I'm CR13 and I can't seem to hurt something so common as incorporeal creatures?"

Infinitus targets Hurrycane with an unholy blight.
