The blade barrier is centered in the Victory Zone, but I meant that Drac wouldn't take damage from it if he could fly over it. Another thing about Armstrong is that I guess he wouldn't fall if Drac snatched him. I think Drac would take the free action to drop him, though, so Paul will not be able to ready anything. But, I'm okay with any ruling on it. If Paul gets an action, he'll ready to unholy blight the next contestant.

I meant that the blade barrier might disappear when Armstrong is defeated. I was not questioning if Drac could avoid it; I just wanted to point out that it might disappear once I knew that Armstrong was definitely defeated.

Once a main opponent has been defeated in an arena, the victor is teleported out of the VZ and a greater dispel magic is cast on any spells operating in the VZ.

It's been so long since anybody has been defeated in this arena, I don't blame you for forgetting! :)

Bwa haha. I can't believe I forgot that, but like Gansk said, it must be because it's been so long (and we haven't had too many persistent effects in here)

The Blade Barrier is dispelled (CL check of 28)

Ure the huge dragon will teleport to 0N65E, breath fire at Paul, and cast a spell at Drac.

[sblock]Quickened & Heightened +5 breath, then cast confusion.[/sblock]

140: Paul doesn't even see the fire coming (SV 13), takes 27 pts of damage, and is sent back to whence he came.

Ure penetrates SR (26), but Drac shrugs off the spell (SV21). His hp are corrected back to 130.

You can breathe again on round 153. Sadly, you didn't need the Heighten at all, it turns out. :(

OOC: What spell (spellcraft +12)? Does knowledge (arcana) +15 give Drac any information? Hopefully, information in addition to being able to breathe fire and cast a spell, one of them quickly.
