good base class for dread pirate?

Isn't there a mariner class in the Dragonlance book?

Seems like an easy fit...not sure if it works out that way....

Damn, I cant remember. However, Intimidating Strike, and Scourge of the Seas. Awesome for Pirates. I have wanted to play this character for a while.

I you're going to use Ninja as a base class you have to be warforged.
Remember: the one thin that beats ninja/pirates are robot/ninja/pirates!

What is really scary is in Eberron it wouldn't even be that unlikely a character. He could even get a dinosaur and an airship.
