Good cleric spells, level 6, NOT from core/SRD?

My level 11 cleric has an open slot for an extra 6th level spell. It's a D&D 3.5 edition game. I would like to look at spells that are not in the PHB, as I've been doing those for a while already.

I have access to the Spell Compendium and the books that came out after it (PHB 2, Complete Mage, Complete Champion, Complete Scoundrel). Of those books, have you found any level 6 spells you've used to good success? What spell was it, and why was it good?

Thanks for any & all suggestions!

Are you buff/melee or pure caster? A lot depends on that... Also, tell us which ones are you planning on using besides that one. You do know that cleric inherently knows all spells on their lists (aside those banned by your DM)?

Haven't used any level 6 cleric spells myself, but I'll note some other good SpC ones below, in addition to Superior Resistance and Energy Immunity. I still think Heal, Blade Barrier, and Heroes' Feast are the best level 6 cleric spells, though.

I always liked Planar Exchange, just for the potential savings in "not getting thrashed" it provides. If your party is the type that's likely ot need you for emergencies like healing extremely often, not a good spell, though.

Ice Flowers is a good blasting spell + minor battlefield control and gives no SR. Can't be used on solid stone or desert terrain, though.

Cometfall is another decent blast + BFC combo w/o SR, but only a 5 ft radius. Which may be good if your party's mixed up in melee already.

Thanks! I must spread some XP around before giving more to StreamOfTheSky, but thank you for the suggestions.

Duke, I'm not any set role. I'm a generalist. On the spell sheet now is Find The Path and Heal. Those are fine, but uninspiring. So I'd love a fun/effective spell or two that is not core/SRD, just to spice things up.

Has it received errata? It is listed as a 10' square in my copy of the Complete Divine.

I have never been overly impressed with Cometfall. Though, I will use it from time-to-time. The damage is nice, but, then again, damage is easy to do in D&D. The damage is also limited by how far the rock falls. It can be great in the wilderness, but terrible in dungeons. The battlefield control aspect requires both a failed Reflex save and a successful Trip attempt just to knock the target prone. The creation of a 10' square of dense rubble can be useful, though.

I have found that the best 6th level spells are the ones in the Player's Handbook. Outside of those, I have found Cometfall (see above) and Crown of Brilliance to be the most useful in the campaigns I play in. I have not played a cleric (mid-to-high levels) since the Complete Champion has come out, but I am interested in seeing how Weight of Sin plays (despite my general dislike of spells that allow multiple saves and Spell Resistance).

Okay, just came home from a whole day trip, and I am very tired. When I wake up tomorrow, I will find my uber-spell list and post some fun things regarding clerics XD
