I'm going to be in the market for a new computer in the next 4-6 months and I'm not looking to replace the computer I have now, just give it a few upgrades to make it a little more up-to-date.

I'd like to be able to use both computers, so I want o get a KVM w/Audo suppoert. I'm looking to spend no more than $300 on one. Advice?

I suppose you have cable mouse/keyboard?

Not sure if that's true for real KVMs but those switches tend to not work well with cordless periphery.

I recently picked up a DVI/USB KVM for my systems from IOGEAR.
Here is a link to their selections. http://www.iogear.com/solutions/kvm/?view=2port
cost me around $170 Canadian with taxes at my local computer supplier, so a tad expensive,
but mainly because of the DVI connection. I believe the VGA ones are a third of that price.
It's been working like a charm, has a nifty switch that i have sitting on my desk just under my monitor that allows for quick switching.

I've been quite pleased with this product so far, and hope to be long after as well.
