Good movies lately..

I'm of the opinion that:
a) The H2G2 movie will not be good*
b) It won't be that much use to RPG players.

I'm one of the biggest fans of the books, but I can't see how you can use the books/radio show/movie as big RPG inspirations.

A mystical apocalypse occurs, and one of the locals is saved at the last minute by a friend, who is helping to update a comprehensive mystical guide (think Tobin's Spirit Guide or any of the books Giles is forever making the Scoobies look through on Buffy). The apocalypse in question was a surprise to the researcher, but he has connections (and the latest copy of the guide) that could help the players sort out what's going on, and prevent this from happening again.

Suitable for D&D, Buffy or similar monster-whomping games.

What the heck is Steamboy? I have nae heard anything nor seen a preview.
