Good Non d20 systems?

Flexor the Mighty!

18/100 Strength!
After about 1994 until a few months ago I didn't keep up with any of the changes in the RPG world. So what other older systems are still going? Is everything going d20 now? Other than Gurps, the White Wolf crap, Palladium, & Lejendary Adventures I don't see much other than d20 in the store.

Hero 5th edition was just released. There are several recent threads discussing and reviewing it.

There's also the Basic Roleplaying System, which Chaosium uses for Call of Cthulhu.

I believe AEG is still supporting their core system with Legends of the Five Rings and 7th Sea. Likewise, Pinnacle supports their house system with Deadlands, both Weird and Wasted West. Now, whether or not your FLGS will actually stock them, that's the question.

GURPS is good for low power, realistic games.

HERO is good for high power cinematic games

FENG SHUI should be awful, but despite being unbalanced as all hell, manages to be a phenomenally good game.

ARS MAGICA deserves alook because of it's brilliant magic system. It's game world ("Mythic Europe") drives me crazy because the presence of such powerful sorcerors would not have allowed the world to evolve the way they posit.

...and though I have no proof, I am pretty cranked up for both GODLIKE (which I hope will someday be releasedi n Canada) and NOBILIS (which we are starting next week).

Well my votes go to some already mentioned...

For the past three years Deadlands has been my favorite game (the original, not d20) and it's still going strong.

Feng Shui is an amazing game as TB mentioned.

I found 7th Sea to be a lot of fun also, but your mileage may vary. I'm interested in seeing how the d20 conversion will go.

Exalted by WW looks fun though I haven't played it yet. Not like the usual WW "crap"

If you like John Wick's stuff, you could give Orkworld a shot. It's a good read nothing else. I think he had plans on doing an Elfworld book also...

The Unisystem used by Eden Studio (in such games as All Flesh Must Be Eaten, and the forth coming Buffy the Vampire Slayer RPG) is okay. Simple straight forward and flexible.

I second the vote for FENG SHUI.

Cyberpunk keeps threatening a 3rd edition.... but seems to be vapourware at the moment.

.

Seconded. Unisystem is very good. I have all Unisystem products, yes all of them even GM's screens and thats rare for me.

Also Sorcerer is worth a look if you like Minimalist Systems and Intense Roleplaying.
