Good skills with heavy armor?

Quick question...

Does anyone know of a BASE class with strong skills (6+ or better would be ideal) and heavy armor proficiency?

Crusader gets all armor & shields and 4 skill points/level.

A warforged rogue with adamantine body gets 8.

The Akashic from Arcana Evolved gets 8 skill points and heavy armour. Also, martial weapons.

My Guardian variant for the Fighter gets 6sp/level, d10 hit dice, and all the normal Fighter proficiencies, but only 3/4 base attack bonus in exchange.....it's oriented towards constables, captains of the guard, noble bodyguards, watch detectives, etc. Not that this really answers your question in any official sense. The Akashic from Monte Cook's Arcana Unearthed/Arcana Evolved though, as mentioned already, gets 8 skill points per level, d6 hit dice, the proficiencies of a Fighter, all skills as class skills, and 3/4 base attack bonus.
