Good Sourcebook for Aerial Combat?

What's the best ruleset for Aerial combat? I've got a mess of WotC books here and am not sure where to start looking. I though I remembered some rules in the A&E Guide.

I've got a group of PCs who may soon be about to mount up on Giant Hawks to fight Frost Giants on Giant Eagles or Rocs or whatever, and gosh it'd be nice if I had some idea of how to deal with what happens after they get airborne.

Indeed it does.
AFAIK it does a decent job at it.

Of course it's pretty expensive if you'd just need these rules and nothing else...
