I have to take that back. The girl I know doesn't flare out at the hips like the one in the picture. She's as straight and narrow as a tree trunk, with a very oversized top end. No, she has not had surgery.

As for the manly face, did you see "Pitch Black"? If so, remember the boy that was a girl? She had a very "manly" face. So such combo's are possible. Just not what we normally see on TV/movies or in the Entertainment news. You have to watch shows like "Cops" to see woman who look like that. Not to mention ugly/strange looking people in general.

So I'm pretty sure this artist uses real people for what he draws/paints.

I hate to say this, because these days you almost always run into artists online, but the cover art doesn't look very good to me. The white haired person on the left has the face of a man, but an implausible female physique (incredibly skinny, but at the same time, incredibly top heavy). The poses of the other people are stiff. The rest is good, though not great.

Considering they get some legendary artists for the regular DCCs, you'd think they'd have gone with one of those.

I like the artwork. It's quite stylized. A lot of the artwork around is almost 'too good/perfect', almost photographic. I like the quirky features of the girl, not the classic beauty seen in most fantasy artwork featuring scantily clad females. I'm no art critique, just IMO.

Grrrr....I can't see the link from work. Well, I'll just have to wait until I get home. I've been very satisfied with Goodman Games so I'm sure it'll be another must have for me. I still have to catch up on my DCC collection though :D .

Hey Tree - maybe the artist's day job is as a police sketch artist! :p

That cover looks awesome. The characters are aligned around the fringe like a movie poster. How cool is that. Also, the woman on the left looks totally possible- does every woman depicted in fantasy have to be perfect?

Well, see that's the thing - her body is as skinny as Kate Moss, yet her bust is as large as Pamela Anderson (in her post implant days). I think he must have used a Barbie Doll as the model (except instead of Barbie's head, it was Happy Time Harry with a wig).

I like the style of the poster. I just don't like the artwork of the figures on top.
