[Google Wave] List of RPG-related Waves

Prepping a fair amount of concise copy and paste descriptions seems like it would be key to fast pacing of adventures.

I think that I am also going to set up a way to create a new Cooperative Dungeon for over the holiday break starting in mid-December.

Yea, that's a good idea - get a bunch of that stuff laid out in advance.

Oh interesting! I don't have the time to do any coop stuff, but I have been wanting to see some of this in action there!

Hopefully you will have enough time to design just a room or magic item or trap. The idea behind the format is, of course, to minimize the amount of time and single person has to commit. We will see if I cannot tempt you down the line.

Perhaps we should move forward with Cooperative Dungeons as a wave-based adventure mill? Created primarily for use with wave-run games? Perhaps one could be created for Jurgen's Urbis setting?

Yes, this I have time for - I was talking about organizing anything like it ;)

I'm in, sure - but again with the organizing, I'm not sure where to start. Having never even run or played in a pbp game or similar thing online, I'm not sure the best way to put it together, etc. Not that this is a game itself, but from a structure standpoint, I'm just not sure the best way to go about it ;)

I'll work it out. Trainz and I held the Cooperative Dungeon property and he left the future of it up to my discretion, so it's my responsibility to organize it (which I look forward to doing, make no mistake). I'll be noodling around with the wave over the next few weeks and come up with a model for how to proceed then implement it. It would appear that the wave is strongly geared to just this sort of project, so I do not expect there to be much difficulty, just a learning curve on the app. I may have to set up a blog so that others can gain some benefit from my ongoing experience. Anyway, I'll likely set up a brainstorming wave for gathering ideas on how to organize it at some stage, so if you do have suggestions we'll collect them there.

I also used to run some games on roleplayinggames.net and playtested CMG materials in IRC a bunch of times. I have some ideas how this should work out.

Cool - took a quick look at some of those already - looking forward to seeing this in wave format, hehe

Copy paste?

Can't you just add to the wave without any recipients, then when you want it to be shown you add the recipients on a need to know basis?

Anyone who has yet to receive an invite and is still interested should join the EN World wave group to express that interest. A new passel of invites have become available through current users, including some who are already part of the EN World group -

I just got my invite from google. You can see up thread where I posted that I sent them a request. That'll tell you how long I waited. Only seems like it was a few weeks.
