You loose your DEX bonus to those outside of the grapple.. not from those within the grapple.atomn said:When you're grappling, you lose your Dex bonus. So would that mean a Rogue who is grappling could damage their opponent and get their sneak attack bonus damage? Tanks!
Grappling Consequences
While you’re grappling, your ability to attack others and defend yourself is limited.
No Threatened Squares: You don’t threaten any squares while grappling.
No Dexterity Bonus: You lose your Dexterity bonus to AC (if you have one) against opponents you aren’t grappling. (You can still use it against opponents you are grappling.)
No Movement: You can’t move normally while grappling. You may, however, make an opposed grapple check (see below)
to move while grappling.
Rogues are generally not tanks. That job is for the Fighter.atomn said:Rogue ... Tanks!

Just make sure you choose a melee-specialist rogue as your ally, otherwise the target of his ranged sneak attack is determined randomly from amongst the grapplers.Christian said:From which we can conclude that, while rogue grapplers are not especially dangerous, grapplers and rogues can be very effective allies ...
