I bought it off ebay. They are imported but they play just fine and all the discs have the special features and such. Cost about $150. The only disc missing is the extras from season one but that's ok.

Crap, ebay's a problem for me, but I might be able to work something out with someone.

The season one extras disc isn't a problem for me since that's the one season I have.

This is a close-up of the special shelf.

I don't see Scrubs on there, slacker.

Please ignore the teddy bear with the trek communicator....

My Cthulhu could kick you ST bears ass.

I've been lokking at this standpoint myself. I am not really a comic conniseur, but I can see how it would be easy to get into. It isn't as expsenive to jump into it and start saving the newer ones as it is to acquire older ones. But I am seeing a poosibility in it of enjoyment and a return on it later down the road. Of course, almost anything that has value, can turn down this path, but I need to start looking at possible cheap investment opportunities.

I just like reading them and I have the inability to get rid of things, add in the fact I've been reading comics for a long time and you end up with trouble find room for all of them, and that's despite the fact I don't get a whole lot.

If you're thinking of starting to collect comics, I suggest just finding something you're interested in reading and not to think of it as any kind of investment.

I don't think I have anything worth more than $100 or so, but the ones I have that are worth that much i wouldn't part with.

I've been looking for something like this for Babylon 5. I missed the show when it was around, and some friends have recommended it, but $360 is a bit steep.

If your DVD player can read region 2 discs, you can get them for €30 each from amazon.de. Shipping would cost a little more, but I'm sure it won't go as high as $360.

I'm a little suspicious when the first two vendors are $200 off everyone else. The first has a good rating but says it's the "Asian Collector's Edition" (??)

Anyway, sorry to derail the thread, thanks for the references though.

Yeah, it's legit but folks typically like to stay away from the Asian Collector's stuff. The boxes are flimsy, sometimes the discs don't work (there is no region protection on them) and other assorted issues.
