The planar invasion has begun!

We got in our advanced copies of the Book of Fiends and it looks evil-rific. Great new art by the likes of James Ryman, Dennis Detwiller, and Kent Burles, plus classic pieces by folks like Sam Wood, Raven Mimura, and Brian Despain. New demons and devils to complement the Legions of Hell and Armies of the Abyss sections, plus the entirely new Hordes of Gehenna and a 3.5 update of the Unholy Warrior. This thing is bursting at the seems with fiendish goodness. Defintely our best monster book to date. Book of Fiends ships to distributors today and will be in stores starting at the end of next week.

Planar fans will also be happy to know that Aasimar & Tiefling: A Guidebook to the Planetouched is printing now and should ship later this month. Look for a PDF preview next week.

Does the unholy warriors handbook have anything the Book of Fiends won't? Besides 3.0 stats?

Revised Unholy Warrior is a surprise treat.

We couldn't fit all of the Unholy Warrior's Handbook into the Book of Fiends, so yes, there's lots of stuff in that book that isn't in BoF, like prestige classes, mounts and creatures, magic items, and so on.

The Aasimar/Tiefling book: Will it include genasi, as well?

I'm sure this has been answered previously, but I dunno where so I'll ask again. I don't suppose Hordes of Gehenna will also be released by itself in softcover like the other two were, will it?

We couldn't include genasi or plantouched from FF and MM2 as they are closed content. However, you could certainly build anything you want with the rules inside. Furthermore, I was real careful to make sure the plantouched races in the aforementioned sources could be built using this book instead. In short, you shouldn't have a problem using genasi w/ this book.
