[Green Ronin] Book of Fiends in the House!

We couldn't include genasi or plantouched from FF and MM2 as they are closed content. However, you could certainly build anything you want with the rules inside. Furthermore, I was real careful to make sure the plantouched races in the aforementioned sources could be built using this book instead. In short, you shouldn't have a problem using genasi w/ this book.

Hope that helps,
RJS

RJS,

Are racial hit dice included for some of the options in the Aasimar/Tiefling book? After the lack of them in B&B, I was just wondering...

I'm tired, so I'm not sure what your asking here? Are you fishing for Racial levels ala Unearthed Arcana/Arcana Unearthed? If so, no, though having read most of the UA, A&T is just as useful, maybe moreso now.
A&T's first chapter deals with building LA. A base creature (a bugbear for example) retains all (3) HD when building the planetouched creature. It allows you to custom build just about any planetouched race you want, but with a focus on inheriting abilities from your half-outsider parent. Ambiguous, I know, but I hope it helps somewhat. :)

Sorry - I could have done a little better job explaining what I was asking for, but it sounds like you have addressed my question satisfactorily.

Here is what I should have posted:

I'm not sure what the content of A&T ( Good thing you did not name this Tiefling & Aasimar eh ? :D ) will be exactly, but I believe it to offer something similar to character building options in The Green Ronin Book "Bastards & Bloodlines". In that book, the templates did not include any racial hit dice, so an ECL 4, Level Adjustement +3 Grendel ( Half Troll ) with one Class level would only have 1HD! A first level half giant with a +5 LA would also only have 1HD! IMO, B&B was otherwise a great book, but should have included racial HD into the template equations.

Sorry for the thread hijack!

Thanks,

BFG

I'm sure this has been answered previously, but I dunno where so I'll ask again. I don't suppose Hordes of Gehenna will also be released by itself in softcover like the other two were, will it?

No. There simply aren't enough people who only want Hordes of Gehenna to do a seperate print run of that. We'd just lose money.

The actual planetouched races generally don't (because their LAs aren't that high), but the half-celestial and half-fiend do.

Another couple of BoF questions.

Does it have breakdowns of what levels of summon monster spells the fiends can be summoned with as was done for some of the monsters in the Avatar's Handbook?

For the NE outsiders are they all DR good or did you give them a specific material vulnerability as well as the demons have cold iron and devils silver?

It does not. That'd be a good web enhancement though.

DR varies from creature to creature; it's not one of the daemon traits. Many have DR/Good, but others have Magic or others as well.
