True20 Quarterly is Green Ronin Publishing’s quarterly magazine devoted to True20 Adventure Roleplaying. Currently, we’re looking for submissions that fit the following categories:
Adventures: 2,500-5,000 word adventures that rely solely upon the True20 Adventure Roleplaying book. An adventure should be fully playable using only the information contained in the main rules and the adventure itself. We are especially interested in adventures that showcase non-standard genres.
Campaign Settings: 8,000-16,000 word mini-campaigns. A mini-campaign should present an overview of the setting and important characters/creatures, any optional rules necessary, as well as a selection of adventure seeds. A map, while not necessary, is always appreciated. A campaign setting should include everything a Narrator needs to start running adventures set in the new world.
Monsters, Treasures, and Stuff: 1,000-5,000 word articles focusing on a single new monster, a horde of related treasure items, new feats, new skill challenges, and anything else that can be compressed into bite-sized bits will always be looked at.
Supplementary Material for Official True20 Worlds: We are interested in articles and adventures based on the official True20 worlds found in the main rules and Worlds of Adventure, though you must secure permission from the copyright holder before submitting the work to us.
Payment
We pay based on final, published length, 90-days after publication. Payment is $0.005 per published word, paid through PayPal. Green Ronin Publishing owns all rights to material published in the pages of True20 Quarterly and Green Ronin Publishing will determine the OGC-declaration of any material published in True20 Quarterly.
Please note that True20 Quarterly is an excellent proving ground for new authors interested in working with Green Ronin Publishing or Ronin Arts on official True20 material.
Use of Existing OGC
Though an OGL-based game, we are not at this time interested in conversions or adaptations of existing OGC. Please submit only material based on the information found in True20 Adventure Roleplaying and your own imagination.
Submitting Material
Send your submission, as a Word, RTF, or text file, to Philip Reed at roninartspresident@yahoo.com. Though published by Green Ronin Publishing, True20 Quarterly is produced by Ronin Arts and it is Ronin Arts’ responsibility to deal with all submissions and payments.
Questions may also be directed to Philip Reed at the address above.
