Greyhawk by another publisher?

Another vote for Erik and Paizo. I don't believe Gary would want Greyhawk back after all that has been done with it since his departure from TSR. I'd guess he'd rather concentrate on his new, but similar setting for Troll Lords, Castle Zygag.

Two retracted attempts with third tier (DL is probably second tier) product lines do not a rebuttal make.

Actually Dragonlance kind of proves the point to a greater degree. It seems like it was moderately successful.
But retracted.

So I say again: Wizards doesn't license their IP.
You won't see third party products using Wizards IP.

I'd love to see a Greyhawk line published by Paizo. We currently have a situation where people want to buy Greyhawk books and people want to publish them. The adventure paths and EttRG has certainly whetted my appetite for more Greyhawk material.

Come on Wizards, do the decent thing and license it out! I am curious to know why exactly Wizards won't do it. It might go some way to boost their flagging popularity...

The decent thing is not even on the table for consideration. Greyhawk IP is a goldmine for WotC. The names of spells, dungeons, deities, magic items, monsters and NPCs will be pilfered from Greyhawks' corpse and used as nostalgic touchstones in the new edition.

I wish with all my heart that WotC would release Greyhawk to some super interested third party or at least contract Mr. Mona to do an updated Campaign Book to be released after Eberron. The Expedition book is the first release for 3.5 from Wizards for Greyhawk and the only since the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer, a six year lull. I don't see it as a priority to WotC to get us an updated CSB.
