HackMaster, on the other hand, doesn't take itself seriously at all, ranging from the multitude of various Fireball spells to the way the monster listings have what body parts are obviously good for magical use, to the deliberate misspellings ("gawd"), and of course, the joke modules that are based on Greyhawk material (Annihilate the Giants, Little Tomb of Horrors). All this is to say nothing about HackMaster being a form of pseudo-D&D.

Obviously you have not looked at the modules in question or read the rule books. The system is a great rpg and the modules are far from 'jokes'. The modules you mention are updated for Hackmaster and Garweeze Wurld setting and contain the original flavor. They are NOT jokes.

Kenzer/H8 take Hackmaster very seriously and do a great job.

Sounds like someone is just repeating what one reads in others ill informed posts.
