Greylock is in surgery (Comes home tonight!)

Ooooch! I hate having body parts replaced; it's like an overpaid surgeon's way of telling you God never really liked you very much.

Was this a long time coming (AKA gradual deterioration) or a sudden need (example: unfortunate random car placement by total stranger)?

Anyhoo.... Long life and prosperity to Greylock! *HRUH!*

Sounds suspiciously similar to an "ex-parrot."

It has a lot of syllables. :) He was in pain form deterioration, this was the solution. :)

"Ex-step-father-in-law" = "my ex-wife's step father."

He's a nice guy and, while never particularly athletic, his work as a biology teacher led to lots of summer hikes, camping trips, field studies, etc. He always enjoyed being outside and now, with his new hip, he's out and about again, almost as good as new.

I hope Greylock has the same degree and speed of recovery.

As he is a member of my Paranoia group, tell him the Compouter expectsa full recovery and that happiness is still maditory. But the drugs should help on that part. :D

I hope this doesn't affect his force-sensitivity. I mean, you know how those artificial body parts can wreak havoc on one's midichlorians. :)
