If you watch the show at all, it's obvious that most of the writers are gamers. Quite a few D&D references have worked their way into the show, including an entire episode about D&D, the Eye of Vecna, Call of Cthulhu, and the Lolth thing. One of the main villains is Eris, the Greek goddess of discord.

's a fun little show.

Yup, have to second SteelDraco's comment about the writers being gamers.

Love that show. It's got Giant Spiders, Dragons, Cthulhu, Giant Monster Battles, Evil Organizations, the whole shebang.

Mandy wants you to watch. Mandy always gets what she wants.

I'd like the Grim adventured of Billy and Mandy more if it was less Billy and more Grimm and Mandy. Billy annoys the hell out of me.

Any particular reason?

It's the parent's role to be the guardian of what their children consume - whether its food or entertainment. How many times have you seen on this board (and others) the phrase "it's the parent's fault" for being too permissive to their childrens' desires and then suffereing the consequences?

I believe the show is aimed at older children, so I am using the entertainment industry's guidelines to help select what's best for my 6 year old. I'm sure the show will still be on when he's older and we can enjoy it then.

That's the whole point! ;-P

I adore this show. I thought it was pretty amusing that they were going to face the Spider Queen, too - although rather than Lolth I was reminded of the Raknos Queen from Doctor Who. It looks like there will be a fair amount of Spider-Man parody thrown in there.

I just hope I get to see 'Wrath of the Spider Queen'. I usually game on Friday nights. I still haven't had an opportunity to see their last movie, 'Billy & Mandy's Big Boogey Adventure'.

6 years old. That’s the info. GAoB&M is a bit much at that age.

I'd say buy the shows you feel are right for your kid on DVD and screen them for the agendas Megacorps and Hollywood try and brainwash children with. At the very least, you'll have to deal less with kids begging for things off commercials. Plus the DVD player can’t play scheduling roulette with shows you don’t want the kid seeing. A DVD player and a stack of DVDs is probably safer than a antenna or cable connection.
