Guardinals! Help Needed.

Guardinals based on the chinese zodiac.

The bat guardinal.

Which reminds me, I need to find the Latin name for the lionfish/scorpionfish family...

Interesting, I too came up with a delphinal...weird. If we ever submit a celestial article, maybe we can merge Khisanth's and mine.

Zodiac guardinals sound cool. I've been working up the standard Zodiac into outsiders on my own, perhaps for some future purpose.

In Shemeska's story hour are mentionned the wizardly Vulpinals (fox).
Rats and mice would be murinal, I suppose. (Muridae.)
A turtle would be chelonal, a tortoise would be testudinal.

And the Lionfish would be a Pteroisal.

Hmm... I think I'll stat up the Vulpinal...

I just had a funny thought. What if we made the Fox Guardinal (Vulpinal) a group effort. I.e. We make it here on the boards, and anyone can throw in the 2 coppers...

I'll go start the thread, heck if it becomes a success we can always make more of them. :D
