Guess What?! NC Game Day VIII is September 10th!

Looks like by process of elimination I have Rook in the Spycraft game. Sometimes I get weirded out by my luck :)

I love this type of character. Works for me. I'm looking forward to the game.

So YOU'RE klyre? I missed that! Glad to see you there, and I'm glad that worked out. When I opened the character requests I was afraid you would feel "stiffed" when we hadn't seen you in the thread yet.

I'm gettin' jazzed about this now. In addition to having Labor Day off work, I had some personal business to attend to the morning of the 9th, so I took one of my personal days off work -- I'm only working three days next week, and gettin' paid for all of 'em. :D

Clueless, any chance we'll get a sneak peek at the Shadowrun pregens before the 10th? ;)

Attention all Spycraft: "Fly Ball" Players

For fun, I've also prepared some handouts that will be at the Spycraft demo I'm running. You can read these at the game, or you can be as slick as the "Impossible" Peter Graves and download them right now! :)

I've created handouts on three of the more important parts of Spycraft: Action Dice, Combat options, and the Chase Rules. One of the nicer parts of this game is the multiple cool things you can do with these three. While all players won't necessarily need the chase rules, they're worth checking into; If you've read the chase system from Corey Reid's Hot Pursuit or Benjamin Durbin's Grim Tales, these will be somewhat familiar. I hope you enjoy them!

3rd - I wasn't able to pick up a copy of 4th at Gencon '05 and I wanted to stick to a system I know well.

Now to repeat my question -- any chance of a sneak peek at the pre-gens? I haven't seen anything on the site you gave us in a while.

Yeah - I got SERIOUSLY busy this time of year - gencon followed immediately by the first few weeks of school (I work the help desk and resnet for campus - freshmen suck). I've been prepping sheets for the game for the last few days, will get them all scanned in. Are there any questions you have setting wise that I can upload to the page while I'm at it?

While I'm ALMOST tempted to do it (I'm running a Spycraft Game) My more rational self will leave you alone for your wedding. :D We'll miss you there, but have a great wedding, man, and I wish you and the bride the best of luck.

Next Gameday, perhaps?

I should be able to make it to the next Gameday. I'll be sporting my new 'married' template.

And remember to stay in character.

I think I'm good, setting wise; member of a "delivery company," right? I'm just curious what the characters will look like, because I'm nosy. ;) I'm good with waiting, though, and I do understand most of the rules, as I own the book, what I am unclear on I'll figure out in-game, or watching others do their thing. I'm just wanting to see if the part that's always bugged me in playing around with it, really WILL bug me. :D
