Kolvar: I think you should re-write intro on webpage. Most of material we have is new, so it is misleading to say that we are 'just' converting 2nd edition guide.

About art: Too bad we lost contact to person, who did our 'iconic' characters.

Since kolvar has been doing the layout of our guide, I let him answer the question about art.

No, I am still working on the editing. I'm half-way done with the Prestige classes, as I need to go over the rules as well as the writing with those. I should be able to finish them soon (with a little luck!).

I would offer my hand at the art, as well, but I think that would just take more of the precious little time I have for editing, so I think I'll wait, ne?

So, kolvar, what about art? What kind of art we need?

Well some word to my situation at the moment: I got a new job and will not be able to post and change the page on a regular basis (mostly weekends).

@Zelda: I will change the text
@Scorn: I think bw-Art better (cause I want to print it out (g) and most of the stuff we got is bw). I am not eager to layout, therefore anyone can do it (in the first place it was mainly an attempt to get everything together, anyway)


About the Mailing-List: the way I see it, it is very convenient for all those already involved, and that is good.
But it is harder to get new input from outsiders, because not veryone is to eager to subscribe to a mailinglist.

I will do a newsletter-system you can subscribe to and everyone involved may have the password. (I will do it, because I needed about 1 1/2 hours yesterday at the train to set it up (I realy got nothing better to do and it was a very simple thing to do) and it will run as soon as we got the database).
Would that be ok?

WOW! I must say, this is turning out amazing! Not counting the few typos I found in the .doc, the only problem I seem to have found is the tables on page 55 are REALLY messed up, overlapping, etc. and I can't figure out how to fix them or align them. I'm using Word2000...

Well the tables are a mess. I work on two different versions of Word, and everytime I switch the tables are messed up. That is why I want to try to get it layout with a layout-programm (a second, that the pdf file created from this doc would be over 10 mb, at least with the acrobat writer I used (three times))

Another thing: I talked to Zelda, who organised the server and we thought about giving all of us, who contributed to the file a small reward, namely a page no the server for every person who contributed and wants a page (i.e. only one page with images, maybe one or two donwloads, not more than 1 mb per person). What you make out of these pages is up to you.

I'm going through a lot of the spells right now, and I think many of them seriously new levels... Unless you've already got someone doing some tweaking like that, maybe I can post my thoughts about the spells and their levels.. (it's all about game effects compared to other spells, which makes most of them low-level)

Don't just evaluate them in terms of their usefulness in a "normal" game, against normal spells; evaluate them in terms of how useful they would be in a 'sexual' game, because that's the context in which they'd be used.

Once the editing is done, I can do the layout. I have all the necessary software, plus I can probably crunch that pdf down significantly.
