Pathfinder 1E Gunslinger Rapid Shot and/or Two-weapon Fighting

Uber Dungeon

First Post
I actually have a few questions.
Using two pistols with two-weapon fighting would be -4/-4 because they are not "light one-handed weapons" Correct? It seems that various forms are treating the penalty as -2/-2, not sure if I'm missing something.

Next question is combining two-weapon fighting with Rapid Shot witch states; "When making a full-attack action with a ranged weapon, you can fire one additional time this round. with a -2 to all attacks" So that would give you 3 attacks at -6/-6/-6, correct? Again various forms are saying -4/-4/-4/-4, but that seems odd in both the number of attacks being 4 and the penalty to attack seems low somehow.

Reading the rules strictly it appears that you can't use two-weapon fighting with pistols.
The two weapon fighting description says that thrown weapons count, the hand-crossbow says that it is usable with 2 weapon fighting.
Pistols don't say anything about it.
Personally I'd say that it is usable but by the rules it isn't. I'd have to think about whether it counts as light or heavy (I'd probably rule that a revolver isn't light due to the issues I've seen reported about two handed gun use)
I'm not sure how you're getting multiple shots from 1 pistol in a round though as you still need to reload it even when you're using rapid shot.
