Half-Price Books . . . your source for liquidated books!

I checked three different stores yesterday and all three had the same large batches of liquidated D&D books (all books priced at $13/each).

DMGII
Five Nations
Explorer's Handbook
Stormwrack
Frostburn
Waterdeep
Magic of Incarnum

And a host of "Races of . . . "

So anyone that has been tempted by some of these . . . well, you know what to do.

Earlier this year they had the first D&D Boxed set (witht the black dragon) also. It was selling for like $9. Should have just bought them all.

I'll need to check, I don't have some of those!

Yep, I went 1/2 price booking day before yesterday up here in Dallas and everyone of them had the books you listed. I was surprised to see them liquidated already. Also saw Heroes of Battle, Heroes of Horror, and Weapons of Legacy as well.

So what are these mystery stores? I need Stormwrack and DMGII!
Did you read the subject line?

EDIT: Actually, HPB isn't as nationwide as I thought (they're only in 14 states, I guess they just happen to include all the ones I'm in frequently). Half Price Books (no hyphen, BTW) is the actual name of a large bookstore chain, not just a description of what they had.

EDIT THE SECOND: What part of Pennsylvania are you in? Apparently they have two stores in Pittsburgh (you don't want to know how I nearly misspelled that) and one in someplace called Bethel Park.

I'm a bit lucky - there's one that's a nice walk (when it isn't crazy hot) from Rice University. I meant to stop there today. Maybe if the paper I should be writing right now goes well I'll take a break and pop over there.

I badly miss Half Price Books. They aren't a national chain, not quite yet. But they're getting there. I need Stormwrack, which makes this even more frustrating.

Ditto for me. I loved Half-Price when I lived in California and Wisconsin, but they haven't made their way East yet. Made many good purchases at that chain...
