Halfling war sling?

I seem to remember a weapon like this somewhere, in a wizards book or a d20 supp. Anyone know where?

What other halfling weapons are there?

I thought you meant it was a sling for giants to use with halfling ammo, LOL.

It's in Races of Faerun, along with the Skiprock which goes with it.

Nice little bit of equipment to - the skip rocks used with the war-sling can to a richoett attack, striking first the creature aimed for, then any creature within 5 feet the wielder designates (-2 penalty to pull it off). Normally damage is 1d3/x2. When used in the warsling, it jumps to 1d6/x4 - need to be profiecent in the warsling and the skip rock to use it thus, however. There's a 'great sling' form Midnight. Big, double handed sling, suitable for launching children.

OK, just had a look.

Just wondering, equipment in 3.5 normally has small medium sized varients. Is it assumed that the Halfling War Sling is sized for a halfling (and thus does 1d6 damage)?

Errr.... I would not try to ask a Dm for a Medium sized Halfling Warsling that does 1d8 damage, unless you were a medium sized halfling and were able to make all your own medium sized skip rocks..
