Ooh yes, I forgot that one. Another excellent example of halfling artwork. (Wasn't he defending her from just a simple human fighter, though? That's if I remember correctly. But I'm old and my mind doesn't work efficiently anymore....)

Get rid of halflings!!? Are you daft? I love to play halflings, and I prefer my halflings to have furry feet, be a little plump and round, and love cookies and tea. Why anyone would dismiss the small races from their campaigns I have no idea, obviously they have poor taste and imagination. If anything should go get rid of those damn tree huggin elves and take their damn drow degenerates with them blah, good riddence.

As for halflings in my campaign I recently had an entire village of them possessed by an evil devil spirit. They would bring unsuspecting guests to the their village, feed them, feast with them, and then the warparty would show up. They instructed the poor fools around them to run for their lives, they would give them a 5 min head start. Once of the PC's started laughing at them and he quickly cut him down, the others took the cue and ran.

Ahhhh devil possessed halflings, what fun!!
