Halo Soundtrack?

Okay, I will not turn this into a debate, but that is grey area...but lets' be clear, I am not profiting from it. I am sorry if I am offending the 'morale' code, but the technology to permit this, was created by us humans.

It's not grey. It isn't legal to make copies of copyrighted material to give to others. You can only make copies for yourself.

As you said, it is like coping an RPG, but it also applies to video, music, DVD

Yep. And you shouldn't give out copies of those either.

I personally downloaded the Halo soundtrack on KaZaa. I loved it, listened to it, and bought a copy.

Oh. See, I asked if there was a place to buy copies. I took it that there weren't, and the only way to get copies of the music was to get it yourself from the game.

I personally would love it if the Halo game came with the soundtrack as part of the DVD. I think it's a little silly to buy a CD that has the same music that's on the game, only it doesn't have the game. I mean, hell, you can buy Halo for $20 now, right? Buying just the music for $15 is silly.

I won't dispute the legality, or the morality. I'm just saying it's silly that I need to buy the same thing twice if I want a version that isn't attached to a game.
