Happy "Turkey" Day (OT)

And more late Happy Thanksgiving wishes.

And to those of you without the traditional dishes...

Sucks to be you. :D

We did all the old favs, turkey, yams, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, etc.

And stuffed doesn't even begin to cover it. I may need to eat again on saturday.

Here's hoping you all had a good holiday.

I went to my Aunt's and had my choice of ham, dark meat turkey, light meat turkey, three kinds of rice dish, five casseroles, ham dumplings, fresh rolls, three kinds of congealed salad, stuffed celery, deviled eggs, olives, stuffing with scratch-made gravy, potato salad, and several desserts. Mmmm. It was the first Thanksgiving after my Mom died, and that made it a lot easier, being in a house full of people.

I had turkey, stuffing, potatoes (both regular mashed and yams) and a couple biscuits. And corn. And three - count 'em three - kinds of pie. Apple, pumpkin, and shoo fly. Of course, I didn't actually eat all that. I'm not a hobbit. ;)

Later, I got my finger ripped open when I was teasing my cat by not giving her a piece of turkey. ;)

I slept through the holiday. We have a traditional dinner here at work, which I am just not feeling up to. Luckily there is some salmon with some very tasty looking sauce on it, also. yumm.
