Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will be released on a Saturday so that young fans do not have to skip school to buy it on its first day.

The fifth volume of the Potter series will be 38 chapters and 255,000 words - a third longer than the last book.

Woo hoo! About time! This of course means that the speculation for who will be playing any new characters will begin around...oooh...22nd June or so...:D

A third longer then Goblet of Fire, so it'll be around 1000 pages? That's a good sized book. It was a nice long wait and hopefully it will be worth it.

Sigh. How long until the softcover, then? We have the books in softcover and I don't want to mix soft and hardcover. Do you recall that it took a lot longer than the industry standard of 1 year for goblet of fire to hit softcover? I think we'll buy the hardcover for my mother in law, then borrow it.
