at this rate, she'll be writing longer books than Robert Jorden

I just hope she doesn't kick the bucket before she finishes the series - and the same goes for Jordan. ;)

I love all 10 of Roger Zelazny's Amber books, but the second set of five lacks a feeling of closure. I've always attributed that to the fact that he died before he could tie things up with another set of novels, although that could certainly be inaccurate.

A third longer then Goblet of Fire, so it'll be around 1000 pages? That's a good sized book. It was a nice long wait and hopefully it will be worth it.
At 768 pages, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" is more than one-third longer than its predecessor, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," Britain's Bloomsbury Publishers said.

"Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" is more than 255,000 words compared to more than 191,000 words in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." Released in July 2000, that sold more copies on the first weekend after publication than any other book, according to Bloomsbury Publishers.

i'll be first in line

or read it first...? :D
I will be first in line at the library like I was when the fourth book came out because I also have the same problem with not wanting to mix paperback with hardcover. Hopefully we will only have to wait a year before paperback comes out this time. That is funny about reading the books before giving them as presents because that is actually how I got the first and second books. My aunt bought them for me as presents both times but had to read them first.

So how old is Harry and co. now? 15? I remember watching an interview with J.K. Rowling that made a comment about the hormones flying or something. I never bought the other books, but since I've liked the odd romance novel...

Huh, my copy of Goblet is 734 pages, so how are they adding over 60,000 words in a little over 30 pages?
