Has anyone converted Temple of Elemental Evil to 3e?

So true. He sits around watching Original Cast SNL (all others are poor substitutes...) and listening to Three Dog Night when he's not playing OD&D.

Hmmm.... Diaglo, mind if I stop over? :)

Are there any story hours of original modules, either converted or not?

Hmmm, how about Blood, Sweat, and Tears?

The Auld Grump, riding a painted pony into the sunset... or would if it didn't keep going in circles...

It was briefly mentioned here, but has anyone picked up the computer game and tried it yet? Been seriously thinking of grabbing it myself, but money is tight lately. I get my profit sharing in a few weeks though...so, woo, woo!

(snip) the promised T2 Temple of Elemental Evil...i waited 5 years for that one. when it was released as T1-4 i was sadly disappointed. it was rife with errata. but it was still better than any attempt to return to... (snip)

I'm another who waited five years for the sequel to T1... and another who was very, very, VERY disappointed. Despite the five year interlude it came across as something very hurriedly slapped together with little sense of coherence.

I found the backstory and plot of "Return to" far more coherent than the original, but the Crate Ridge Mines becomes an interminably boring dungeon crawl... um, much like the original. Keep the beginning and the end and design your own "middle" (using some of the more interesting encounter areas) and it should be pretty cool.

IMO/YMMV.
