Has anyone ever played A.I. by Digest Group Publications

I was going through an old Challange magazine when I came across an add for a game called A.I. made by Digest Group Publications. It was billed as sci-fi fantasy game involving nano-tech and genetic engineering. The Challenge magazine was published in 1992. Has anyone played this game or at least read it?

On another website someone said the game was lost to a computer failure. Is there any truth to this?

I was a big fan of their Traveller materials. They seemed to suddenly fall off the face of the Earth. I don't think A.I. ever made it into print. I have made some attempts to find them on the I-net, with no success.
