Has anyone used Herolabs

If you're slightly technical minded, you can turn a nook color into a standard android tablet with just a few minutes of work. They play nice with PDF files and can access anything available on the Android market. I've been using one for a while. I use LogMeIn to control my server and run VTTs in admin/GM mode as well as run Herolabs.

The Nook Color is 1/3 the price of an iPad, much more portable and upgradeable to the latest and greatest OS.

I've used it and it's pretty good, I found creating custom data to be a bit wonky. But that could have just been me not used to the program. And it's probably improved that area since I've used it. Some people are turned off by the pricing structure. The forums are a great help though and generally friendly.

I'm not sure if you can create custom output sheets though, I never got that deep into it.

As an alternate you could try PCGen :)

I bought a license for Pathfinder core, and I´m satisfied. Quite a find, I must say. I´ve just finished Crypt of the Everflame, and leveling is just fantastic easy. I recomend it.

I'm going to be using an NPC in a friend's Pathfinder game next week and he sent me a copy in email and the character sheet must be from Hero Lab, due to the logo up at the top. It looks nice and it would probably be a good thing to use considering I haven't read Pathfinder rules from cover to cover so I'm not sure about any little changes, especially to the NPC classes. Like I don't know why a 1st level warrior with a CON of 13 has 10 hit points, except maybe from the Graverisen feat, I don't know what that does.
