Interesting:

"Since then, Alta Fox has altered its goal and message of “Free the Wizards” to “Strengthen Hasbro” by reducing its number of nominees to the board down to three, removing Jon Finkel from the list."
None of the 3 are agreeing with Alta Fox on spinning off Wizards. 1 agrees on 3 new board members (not 5 as original). Another says adding to board is good, no word on number. Another says spin off eOne.

The Alta Fox position continues to weaken, while their support isn't consolidated

Yeah, the three in question combined with Alta Fox are still a small part of the stockholders.

I wonder if this is not only about money. Today the entertaiment industry is changing, the American superheroes comics being replaced with the manga, the golden years of the AAA videogames are ending, and action-live productions in the streaming services are from different countries, not only by English-speaker nations. And the TTRPG could become the future star in industry thanks online chat and virtual tabletops. Then this is a potential power for cultural impact in the society. The TTRPGs can be a land of opportunities for new IPs starting from zero.

Rest assured, in the end it's always about the money. But you are correct that the markets are a changing landscape.

In general, Alta Fox (and some of these other investor groups) are about getting the most money now. Hasbro wants that as well, but their brand management style places a bit more importance on maintaining long term value.
