Have we lost our sense of wonder about 30th level LeShay fighters in Scarred Lands?

Powergaming is for pansies. We hardcore Xtreme gamers prefer Gimpgaming.

There’s no bigger thrill than helplessly rolling down that hill towards the orcish hordes, because your CON score is too low for you to stand upright on both legs, while screaming “E-X-T-R-E-M-E!!!” all the way down! Man, just thinking about it gets me PUMPED!!!
Yeah man, totally extreme!

I play in a game where everyone starts out with 4 10's and 2 11's for ability scores (-4 to one random ability score so it's not overpowered). Everyone's a human too (cuz those damn demihumans are too powerful) and everyone starts off at venerable (though, no bonuses to mental ability scores cause that would be overpowered).

Everyone plays either a commoner or an expert and the campaign starts and ends at 1st level, though it takes 20 years to get to the end of the campaign.

Man, you just haven't played a real game of D&D till you've seen your 86 year old 1st level human commoner get right to the end of 1st level and then get killed by a cat. Heartbreaking.

I had to roll up a new character all the way at the beginning of 1st level... :(

Pants, you are the penultimate munckin group. Experts have d6 hit dice and can pick their skills. What the hell kind of uber-RIFTS D&D game are you playing?

We hate munckins so much that we don't even sink to the level of looking at any books or making any actions. Owning the books, knowing any of the rules, and doing any action gives the players too much power.

"Differently abled," thank you very much!

A cripple who attacks the differently abled? Man, that's messed up...

Seriously, Daniel, I expected better from you.

That's a great idea.

Next time we play, I'll just read my players the 1st chapter of the Hobbit over and over again. Whenever anyone attempts to do anything, I'll hit them with my giant, leatherbound book.
