Have you become disillusioned with 3rd edition?

Not disillusioned at all. I run a 3.5 Forgotten Realms campaign pretty much rules as written, with only a few very minor changes.

Still enjoying D&D 3.5 as much as ever, although it would be nice to have a chance to try out Iron Heroes or True 20 one of these days.

Funnily enough, my enjoyment of D&D has increased since I dropped my ambitious plans to rewrite the character classes, add a hundred new feats and generally tinker far too much with the game. Maybe the guys who wrote the Players Handbook did know what they were doing after all.

The 3.xe waters are nice and comfy, and I have enough material to keep me happy and churning out exciting games for a long time.

at over $400 worth of 3.0 and 3.5 books why would I play anything else EDIT eerr over $500 forgot to count the books in my game bag that I lug to every game

we do mix it up with some HERO cause we're all superheros at heart... uuummm without the ambition... and none of the powers (blantanly stolen from some t-shirt)

There's no option for AD&D 1e, so I chose other.

I came back into the game playing 3.5 after a long absence from RPGs in general. I have been having a great time with this set of rules and have very few complaints about them.

I still play 3.5, when I run it it's mostly as-written (with a few Unearthed Arcana variants). Except for a few minor complaints (clunky weapon-size rules and some oddities in the spell lists and descriptions mostly) I think it's the best version of D&D ever made.

I really like d20 Modern and run and play it when I can, but that's not that often.

I'm personally really getting fond of Iron Heroes, and to me it will largely supplant D&D as my fantasy RPG of choice (although with another magic system, I don't care too much for the Arcanist).

I still play Third Edition.

I started my campaign with 3.0 came out. After a group vote we transitioned the campaign to 3.5…and we haven’t looked back. Same campaign, whole lotta fun.

I do most of the options in the pole, but not because I have any dissillusionment with the game system - I just want the game to do different thrings from different groups.
