Have you ever played with a 'standard' party?

Very close to it. Our main campaign has:

Human Barbarian
Dwarf cleric
Halfling rogue
Human wizard

On the other hand, out other campaign has:

Elf Cleric/Necromancer
Human Bard
Human Monk
Dwarf Fighter

Yep.

All the time in 1e and OD&D.

First 3e party we ran was:

Barbarian, Ranger/Sorcerer, Wizard, Cleric

Went to level 15 before we hit the big reset switch.

On the other hand, our two current campaigns have:

Monk 18
Psion 4 / Rogue 4 / Mind Thief 10
Druid 12 / Green Hunter (modified) 6
Cleric 18
Rogue 9 / Practical One 9

and

Rogue 4
Rogue 1 / Fighter 3
Rogue 2 / Ranger 2
Rogue 2 / Wizard 2
Rogue 3 / Cleric 1

The game I play in is sort of a standard party, though there are a few too many characters:

Knight (close enough to a Fighter)
Shaman (close enough to a Cleric)
Sorceror
Rogue

plus:
Barbarian/Shaman
Rogue/Sorceror/Fighter

Geoff.

I tend to run lower to average magic and low money campaigns. As such, there's usually a cleric or two because people understand that especially at lower levels, healers are free while healing potions cost money.

My solution, lower the price of healing potions a tad (50-75% of DMG price) and introduce a variety of slower acting "herbal" remedies. A tea that heals 1d4 Hp in an hour, two doses per day at least 8 hours apart. A salve that applied to a wound heals 1d8 after 8 hours of rest.

These kind of things, coupled with my reduced number of crazy traps and such allows my players to worry less about how they'll get Hp's and let's the clerics be priests of their god and not Cure Light Wounds dispensors.

Currently we are running with 5 characters.

they are:

Evoker

Enchantress w/ Cleric Follower

Barbarian/Fighter

Fighter

PsiWar/Fighter Archer

We will eventually be getting our PC cleric (He is DMing right now) and our Ranger/Rogue (New Baby in the house) back into the mix.

Our party started off fighter/cleric/rogue/wizard, which would seem to count. Of course, later things got complicated, and the wizard is the only one who's still just a plain old wizard. If by 'plain old' you mean female, blue and fond of seashells as clothing, that is. And that doesn't count her racial abilities.

Anyway, the players seemed to want that rough balance, but I kicked it out of 'em eventually...

Hmmm...
Not standard...
Adept/Wizard/Spirit Mage
Bard/Singer of the Dead
Fighter/Blackguard
Cleric/Blackguard
Ranger
Psychic Warrior/Spirit-Blade
Rogue
Monk/Acane Burned
and, as NPC's, we have...
Fighter/Close Quarters Combat Champion (Bodyguard Slave)
Expert (Pleasure Slave)
Blackguard/Monk/War Machine (Companion)
Expert (Pleasure Slave)
8 Strong Hero's (ala Modern d20) (Ogre Divan Slaves)
Zombie Gorrilla

So, no, not a standard party, but it works for us...

My main group has three sets of characers.

Set 1 (TPK'd): Wizard, Cleric, Bard, Barbarian, Barbarian
Set 2: Monk, Rogue, Cleric, Fighter, Monk, Sorcerer
Set 3: Fighter, Monk, Rogue, Cleric, Sorcerer

My kids (playing 2 each) made a standard party in the first 3e group I DM'd: Cleric, Rogue, Barbarian, Wizard. Some friends join in occasionally to add a Paladin and a Fighter to the mix.

My CotSQ game: Troll, Troll, Treant, Centaur/Barbarian, Centaur/Fighter, Elf Wizard, Trumpet Archon. The Satyr/Monk and Blink Dog/Rogue got created, but never played. And four of the "monsters" have no class levels yet. The Trolls & Treant are basically fighters, and the Trumpet Archon is filling a clerical role.
