Have you ever played with a 'standard' party?

My games usually have 6 or so players...my players don't really go for the 'standard'. The longest running game has:

Elf Psychic Warrior
Elf Ranger
Half-Elf Monk
Halk-Elf Samurai
Human Bard
Halfling Cleric

I've never played with a standard 4 person party.

We always have a larger group (6-9) players that generally includes all of the standard classes +.

Usually we have 30-50% warrior classes, 1 each cleric, wizard, and rogue and one or two randoms (currently a psion and a druid).
 

In 3E, Many players seem to at least start out with one level of rogue for the extra skill points! Makes for an interesting start:

Player 1: I'm a Ranger type, but all I have down so far is the silent movement and some uhhh - other stuff!

Player 2: I'm a rogue, but I'm studying magic and am very close to casting spells!

Player 3: I'm a reformed thief/rogue, but the priesthood is my focus now. I expect to be an ordained cleric of the order of the majestic Watyastole really soon!

Player 4: I'm a really quick and quiet type...

Normally i play with 5-6 pcs even in tourneys. Most of time there is a standard base in the group.
Rogue is really most strong pc (if best played) in 3ed, even if sometimes is multiclassed with fighter or ranger or sorcerer so i never played without it.
A cleric is a needing, even if is not very funny to play, so we must take a place for it.
One or two fighters are obviusly in the group. Normally there is a fighter and a barbarian. If there is only one, normally it is a barbarian. Rarely there is place for a ranger, in 3ed is ever a bit less strong than other choices. More commonly, the rogue have some levels of ranger, for his strategical role, if in a tournament.
A mage is a must. First choice is Elf wizard with some feats for distance attacks. Second choice is a Sorcerer multiclassed rogue or cleric.

My standard group is:
5pcs

(halfling) Rogue / sorcerer (or rogue/ ranger if not a fighter)
(human) Fighter (or sorcerer/cleric if not a rogue/sorcerer)
(Dwarf or Half Ogre) Barbarian
(human) Cleric
(elf) Wizard

I had a campain with:
1 gnome wizard
1 human sorc
1 human druid
1 halfl rogue
1 human sorc/pala

and this was veryyyy difficult, with no real front fighters.

Now, i do have something of everything:
1 h-orc barbarian
1 h-orc fighter
1 human fighter
1 elf cleric
1 human rogue
1 human sorc

a lot better, with some muscle at the front....
 

strange enought the last fantasy game i ran consisted of:
a dwarfen fighter
a female human wizard
a human ranger
a human paladin

and i didn't even tell them to make a "standard" group.

We use some custom classes, but they are self explanatory.

No one ever wants to play a Cleric, which is why I got stuck with one in the current campaign. DM wouldn't let me be a Doppleganger Sorcerer...what a jip.
