Anvuss will keep swinging. (Though it's hard to use invisible castle with my phone, so please roll for me while I'm travelling! My posting may be spotty till January 3rd or so. NPC him if I slow you down -- he intends to save his last infusion for repair.)

Combat, Round 3 Cont.

In an effort to aid Tali's withdrawl, Anvuss swings his morningstar down on Skeleton #1, smashing it to pieces(6 damage). Shattered fragments and whole bone alike collapse into a useless heap.

Tali tumbles his way up to E4, and swings at the half-orc. His swing goes astray when he feels the stones beneath his feet sink half an inch and the portcullis comes careening down. (OOC: Please make a reflex save for Tali. Also, you'll need to let me know what side of the portcullis you want to be on, the side with your friends (you'd be in E5), or the side with the half-orc (you'd be in E4 and squeezing).)

Combat, Round 3 Cont.

Tali's reflexes don't fail him as he narrowly misses being crushed by the portcullis. It crashes down with a thunderous boom.

Shoot summons up another wolf, and directs the previous wolf to attack Skeleton #3. His first summoned wolf snaps at the air, and then fades out, leaving no trace behind. Shortly after, the second summoned wolf appears at C10, but it's jaws also find nothing but air. Fang, instinctively using pack tactics, moves up to E10 and savages Skeleton #3, tearing off one of it's legs. The skeleton tries to balance on one leg for a moment, and then topples into a pile of inanimate bones shortly after.

OOC: Go team wolf! ;) Shoot still needs to act, and then I'll finish up this round and move on to round 4.

Shoot started casting another spell, the one that helped him figure out how to do things, as he watched Fang show the magic wolves how to tear apart that ugly skeleton.

"Good boy, Fang! You show 'em!", he thought.

As the foul undead clattered to the floor, Shoot finished the spell. He felt much better and smarter now. "Good boy, Fang!", he called. "Sic 'em, Fang!", he ordered, gesturing for Fang and his summoned companion to attack the lone skeleton that was still threatening Anvuss.[sblock=OoC: ]Casting Guidance and sharing the spell with Fang. Next turn, Shoot will follow behind Fang as the wolf attacks Skeleton 4 so that Fang can still benefit from the spell. Shoot will not move into a threatened square unless doing otherwise would cause Fang to separate to a distance of more than 5'.[/sblock]

Shoot casts his spell, and his thoughts are brought into a sharper focus.

Anvuss continues to be too difficult for Skeleton #5 to harm.

The black veiled woman's head, seeing the blood dripping from Raven's cheek, licks it's lips with a disgusting slurping sound and, flapping it's bat-wing ears, flies around Skeleton #4 to snap it's needle-like teeth at Raven, missing.

The half-orc, a look of surprise still on his face, backpedals up the stairs, his spear held at the ready. He looks ready to skewer Tali at the slightest move, and his nervous eyes dart between Tali and the levers by the portcullis.

Outside, the faint ringing of bells can be heard.

OOC: Seat is up first in round 4.

Raven will try her luck feinting against this strange head. Keeping herself on the defensive, as she fights two foes, she feints another blow to the skelleton, but then diverts it in a stab at the flying head's eye. "Uh, heads up, guys. I could use a hand." she says.

OOC: combat expertise, -1 BAB, +1 AC. AC 18. longsword +2 1d8+2. Feint vs sense motive + BAB. Rolls. Sadly - probably a miss. to hit = 7
 

"I'll help Anvuss" Seat tells Shoot. "You lend a hand to Raven.". He then advances and brandishes the torch near the skeleton fighting Anvuss. The undead may be mindless, but they rect to threats, so the dwarf hopes to give the warforged a better opportunity to use his mace.

ooc: Move to E9 and use the Aid another action to give Anvuss a +2 to hit skeleton #5. Attack roll is 2, so it doesn't work, but Anvus still gains a total of +4 to hit (flanking, dark knowledge and Bless) if he steps to C7

"Uh, all right", responded the warforged. "Fang, sic that one! Th-that one over there!", he ordered, pointing to the skeleton that was menacing Raven. He trotted along after the wolf, swinging wide to his right to avoid the flailing arms of the skeleton that was fighting Anvuss.[sblock=OoC: ]Fang is directed to attack Skeleton 4, and may pick up an AoO from Skeleton 5 on the way over there...your call as to whether the wolf is smart enough to swing wide so as not to move through threatened squares. The summoned wolf is directed to O7, where it will attack Skeleton 4 as well (maybe it will draw the AoOs instead of Fang). Shoot will move to F8 by way of F9, thus avoiding the AoO himself and also staying close enough to Fang that Fang can still partake of the Guidance spell that he's casting.[/sblock]
