Healing Feats

The Draconic Aura feat allows you to select an aura from the list in Dragon Magic. The Vigor aura (the one that grants fast healing) isn't on that list.

Incorrect. The exact text is:

"When you select this feat, choose a draconic aura (see page 86). You can project this aura..."

It says to see page 86, but that page specifically references PHB2 for the origination of draconic auras. Nowhere does it restrict the feat to ONLY the auras in Dragon Magic - and in fact doing so would undermine one of the key 3E tenets (all splatbooks are useable in conjunction with all other splatbooks).

The wording is a little ambiguous, and I could see it being interpreted either way. I think Zurai's is the cooler, but less likely, interpretation.

I don't see how you can interpret it any other way. If there was a feat in the PHB that let you cast any 1st level spell 1/day, and referenced the PHB "Spells" section to explain what a spell is, would you rule that it only let you cast a 1st level spell from the PHB?

By the way, the list of draconic auras isn't even on page 86. Page 86 is the explanation of what a draconic aura is. If they REALLY wanted to limit you to just the auras listed in Dragon Magic, they'd say either "one of the auras listed on page 87" or "one of the auras presented in this book".

are there any decent spells..?

I'm playing a 5th level cleric, going radiant servant next level.

They are about as healer-iffic as you can get.

Augment Healing, + Sacred Healing + extra turning= lots of big heals

Next level I'll take imbued healing for the bonus HPs...

I like to cast Mass lesser vigor...Gives 3 players fasthealing 1 for 16 rounds, immediately heals 6hp per person, and with imbued healing will give everyone 1 temp HP/level. Thats pretty sweet for a single 3rd level spell.

Does anyone know of amy spells from non-obscure sources that increace healing done with spells?

If that's how your DM rules, that's great. However, some rule that vigor grants the fast healing ability, and does not directly heal. Therefore, Augment Healing doesn't provide those 6 bonus hp. Still a great spell, though....

Augment healing: Add +2 points per spell level to the amount of damage healed by any Conjuration(healing) spell that you cast.

The amount healed by mass lesser vigor when it is cast is 0, +6 for it being a 3rd level conjuration(healing) spell. Seems like a fairly solid interpretation to me. I'd even go so far as to say that a healer with access to this spell and the augment healing feat could ALSO stack her charisma bonus onto the amount healed since now shes cast a healing spell that heals hit point damage.

Wow, you managed to make the Healer class into a reasonable healer! Depressingly, that's quite an impressive feat. :)

Can't wait till my radiant servant hits lvl 9 and will be able to cast a mass cure light wounds for about 45pts of healing per person once per day, or more times with action pts.

1d8(maximized with armband of healing)+ 10augment, +9CL, +1healing domain, +2sacred healing. =30x1.5 for the radiant servants empower healing ability.

I know theres other ways to get more healing with divine metamagic cheese, but I think that feat is utterly broken, so I'll never take it.

Someone told me there was a spell in Dragon magic or one of those suppliments that adds bonuses to healing spells. Can anyone enlighten me?

Everyone has posted most of the ideas that I could come up with.
If you are looking for a prestige class there is the Combat Medic from the Heroes of Battle which might be up your allley.
