It dawns on me that perhaps there are 2 or even 3 folks who run D&D websites AND play fantasy gaming on the net that do not or have not heard of ENworld. I think I have discovered all three in one location. Truth is stranger than fiction.
I think they just did not understand when the numbers went "screwy" to them. They made the most common jump to "they are cheating" and flapped thier jaws without even looking at ENWorld.
After looking at the solaris site [http://solarisrpg.com/] I am not even sure they are a "Fantasy Gaming" site. They seem to be more along the lines of high tech on a destroyed world type of thing. Hmmmmm.....Interesting.

Any community is going to have some sort of favoritism or elitist tendancies. It's human nature. Yeah, I prolly sound bitter, but I don't decry the whole site for it. I mean, I still come here, post here, and recommend it to others. Slinking off and bitching about it elsewhere is just too passive-agressive and internet-creepish.
As for online polls and voting and ratings, that's all out of my area of knowledge, so I'll just say I think ENWorld stands on it's own merit.

Think it be good or bad to have us join that little contest and bump those guys to 3rd place? I'm sure Jim would join up if I asked him nicely. But then again, I wouldn't want to be responsible for a couple of suicides.
