Exactly. I'd like to think that WotC's stamp of approval means it's worthwhile even if they haven't reviewed / edited it themselves. However, given the number of times I've not been impressed even with best selling material on the DMs Guild, I'm not sure that will be the case here.
WotC provides no stamp of approval for the DMs Guild. They do not review that content at all. DnD Beyond is at least a little bit different as WotC (DnD Beyond) staff have to format products for Beyond and they own Beyond (the don't own the Guild). The also actively promote products on Beyond and this implies some degree of approval. Finally, what is on Beyond is at the invitation of WotC. That also implies some sense of approval. Now, does that mean they really do any type of review of the content - I have no idea. Regardless, there is a much greater implication of approval with content on Beyond vs the Guild (at least currently, there was a comment that they want to make Beyond like the Guild at some point).

I was mainly referring to the Guild Adept stuff that used to get put up on DMs Guild. It most definitely did have WotC’s stamp of approval (complete with gold badge). A lot of it, imo, was poorly edited rubbish.

Interesting, my group was planning to start a campaign using this book, once we finish up our current campaign (which I’d estimate has about 3-4 sessions left in it).
