Hellboy Stats?

Some time ago a guy was posting character write-ups for such Comic Heros as Daredevil and Dr. Strange. Anybody know what the link for his site was? Also, has anybody written up Hellboy for M&M?

The skill ranks seem kinda low, though I guess such is the nature of M&M.
Yup. I have never read Hellboy, so I am not really sure about the character, but generally I would expect an explorer-type to have much higher skill levels. But, as you say, M&M skills tend to be disproportionately low for supers, unless you are playing a Batman-esque character, and even then you are most likely relying on Super-INT rather than tons o' skill points.

Speaking of Hellboy, it wouldn't surprise me if the upcoming "hellboyish" MnM suppliment, Nocturnals, had some rules for tweaking skill points and putting caps on super attributes.

I know that in my own MnM Farscape game, I did the very same thing.

In a standard 4-color comicgame, yes, leaning on super atts to give you big skill rolls was a design decison for MnM.

Hellboy can see no better in the dark than a normal human (as mentioned by HB himself in Hellboy: Seed of Destruction).

Blast, you beat me to the punch - I was about to point out the same thing.

I dont think I would let a player taking Hellboy choose the disturbing appearance trait. Though he looks like a demon, even strangers and peasants who see him are always unsuprised to see him and are never disturbed by his looks.

Realisticly he would need to be around power level 15 or more like 20, considering how he is virtually indestructable and clearly immortal. Good thing he is on the good guys side (and humble)

Ouch! You stepped on a personal pet peeve of mine, but no harm, no foul.

It seems that every fan of a superhero thinks that their favorite character should be "around power level 15 or more like 20," whether the super in question is an X-Man, Avengers or someone else below the "super freinds" level.

It's your game, have fun. But honestly, I can make a lot a version of these guys closer to PL 12 or even PL10 and be happy.

... then again, I am a hard case. I think that most power suit guys should be paying for a cosutme change, not getting a cost break.
