Help assigning panache point value

Remeber Kaptain Kantrips "Cinematic Events?" The link is here. We all thought they were good (and they were) but all the playttesters seemed to not use them as much as they thought. With the Sword Coast panache point system, I think I (and anyone else playing with these rules) can use them. Basically, as I remeber, in that system, you got panache points for doing fancy and elaborate things (swashbuckling type stuff) that you could save and use to help later rolls. While accumlating panache points is great, they aren't very flexable. That's were the Cinematic Events come in. If we put a value on each of the moves, it would really help. I know I suggested this at that end of the last thread but it died and I would really like some help. How many is fair? 5-20? 1-100? Even if you don't want to go through and do them all, any input is helpful.

Panache points

I'm not sure you would actually want to use this system you had thought of. Having a way to modify rolls based on panache is kind of, I dont know, lame maybe? I can't think of a better word, so that one will have to do.
Instead of using the panache points to modify rolls, I would do this instead: have the panache give them extra XP. With my game, I have 2 types of XP: encounter XP and roleplaying XP. You could use a similar system where you award bonus XP for successfully using panache. If you aren't good with ad hoc decisions, (which is largely how I evaluate panache in this case) do the following:

New Skill
Panache
Desc: You know how to use your razor-sharp wit to stun or enrage your enemy. (Dex)

Have this be a general skill, but one that is trained only. For the panache DC, consult the following:

DC 10: "Showing off" (tossing rapier to left hand, saying perhaps it is time you stopped using your off-hand, etc) Basically showing how superior you are to the enemy
DC 15: "Bravado" (hurling daggers to staple someone to a wall, etc) Basically anything showing your gall.
DC 20: "Enemy Flaw" (mocking enemy's form, saying something like "You're too open.")

If you succeed at panache, the enemy must make a Will save (DC= to the success of your roll. I.e. On "Showing off", I roll a check of 15. The enemy's will save is thus DC 15)

Try this. I have no idea whether or not it is balanced or even if it is what you're looking for. But in general, I find it easier to make an ad hoc ruling and give bonus XP, upping the XP based on the wit of the panache and the level of the character (getting 100 XP for panache at 1st level is pretty good....at 7th level, not so good)

Yeah i assigen the points similiarly to your roleplaying xp. but i keep them different and they are not scaled. one point is much better for a 1st level character, but it is also harder to get them. i'm not sure where that skill is going, but you don't have results for the checks. i'm looking for a balance. if i hand out 3-8 panache points to a character per session, and these can be added to any roll at any time or a bunch (10?) can be used to ensure automatic sucess, how much should it cost for the cinematic events
