Help! DM Burnout!

Uggh.

I've been running a plot-intensive campaign with two different groups interacting in the same setting in roughly the same time-line for the last year to year-and-a-half.

It's been great, but I dread running the sessions now. If not for burnout, I'd estimate that I probably have about 3 months or so for a suitable climax (rushed) or as many as 6 for the full monty. What complicates matters is that I begin student teaching in a few weeks, which will take up a good deal of time. Worse yet, I may leave the area in four months when it's over, so a break may be detrimental. My players love their characters and are very invested in the story line, so I'm really not sure what to do.

Any suggestions?

WhenI get in a funk, listening to music helps me out. There's usually a song or two that gets associated with the feel of a good game that always perks me up.

So, here's a question for you. Why are you dreading running sessions. The best solution is to find what's going wrong and make it less of an impediment.
