[HELP] How do you use your vinyl mats?

With the other markers you do not have to have wet and dry rags. The rags are a pain, I would love to get rid of them. Please inform.

You need rags for everything I mentioned.

Don't use rags, use baby wipes and a paper towel. It works sooooo well.

"Wet Erase Markers" are what you need.

I am assuming you have a chessex battlemat - type map. However, even a home-made map using contact paper will wipe right off with wet-erase.

DON'T USE RED.

We use Staedtler markers from our local art store. Don't buy the red ones.

Yes, wet erase is the way to go. Red stains if left on for any peiod of time, but is usually ok if wiped off within a couple of hours. Orange is almost as bad, so is purple. Green and blue are best. Black will stain if left on for weeks at a time. BTW, Windex works well for cleanup at end of game.

My DM uses window cleaner on his mat and it seems to work well

He sprays it on and then uses a cloth to wipe it off
