Help! I actually can't find a PrC.....

Hello! I'm making a backup character for my current campaign and I'm looking to play a Deep Imaskari Wizard with a concentration in Conjuring/Planar Ally type spells. Out of the hundreds of PrCs that are available, I can't find an Arcane Caster Class that enhances conjuring! I was already generating a Wizard/Thaumaturgist and lo and behold you need Planar Ally, a cleric spell. Does anyone know a way around this or is there a PrC in any of the Forgotten Realms or core books that would be pretty good? I'm not looking for ultra mega conjurer (shhh he is legend) just a generally effective character that won't suck the whole party down. Is there maybe some reccommended feats besides augment summoning anyone can think of? Thank you for your time.

That is a cool class, but I'm not really looking for a cohortish creature all the time. I would really like to find something along the lines of a Thaumaturge but I just can't seem to find a way to get Lesser Planar Ally as an arcane spell. That's the only requirement I can't meet.

Hmm

Try to find another PrC which gives you access to LPA as an arcane spell or spell-like ability [DM's approval]. Look into the Manual of the Planes, the Planar Handbook, Complete Divine and Complete Arcane.

Probably you meet the requirements and THEN you could go for your intended PrC?

How about Extra Spell from the Complete Arcane? Would that work to get LPA?

Nar Demonbinder from Unaproachable East is really good.

It is a good class, but I was looking at being Imaskari. They don't really get along with Nar folk

Arcane disciple, conjuration domain (both from Complete Divine).


As for other summoner prestige classes, there's always the alienist (Complete Arcane). A bit ... odd ... but the pesudonatural template is useful for a summoner and you don't have to get more than one level.
