Ok.. this is starting to get down to the wire. my gang of gamers is getting together sunday for our bimonthly session.. but my last character died. and I really need inspiration for something new/ interesting to role play..

i've had a rogue for a long time.. many fighters, monk, a cleric of tempus. (boring) and a paladin once upon a time.. oh and an occassional magic user.. I usually gravitate toward the fighter classes for some reason.. I'm bored..

the party needs a cleric, but I don't know if i can do it again... anyone have any ideas for an interesting cleric or other class.. maybe even a multi class? i will be fourth leveL.

any suggestions are appreciated.

Then make a cleric. Clerics can be real fun with the right domains. Be a human that worships the elven good of war (intersting quirrky characters like this are a must). Take the Elf and War domains (that gets you point blank shot and weapons focus in the dieties weapon which will be Bow) and trhen as your feats for human and first level take Precise shot and rapid shot. Then go cleric Rogue for the sneak attack and sneak skills. You are now a Holy Sniper.

if u want something interesting and fun, and drift towards fighters id suggest a gnome paladin :P. fun and tricky characters, and get some good ac/hit bonuses for a fighter. then monkey grip a greatsword if u still want to dish out damage. and u can be a healer.

Play a cleric with domains such as War/Strength/Glory. Multi-class as a fighter. Clerics can be tanks too.

ps. also, check out the Celerity domain from DotF.

Be a Netrual follower of Jergal. You enjoy having mindless undead servitors BUT don't mind destroying those intelligent undead because it violates the natural order of things, as the soul SHOULD travel on. Thus take Fate domain, along with Death.

That interesting to you?

Play a druid who is really into spiders and vermin much more than wolves and bears. this will work if your campaign is dungeon based.

City Based: the druid is the city dog catcher. You just got fired and need to make some cash to build a huge breedin kennel.

Currently i play a Transmuter/Druid. I use my spells to buff up the animals and it works slick. My large Damaran hound is generally Bull Strengthened, Mage Armored, Magic Fanged, Enlarged, and uses Spider Climb.

I use Spectral hand to use touch spells at a distance. Shocking Grasp and Cure spells work great, as do buff spells.

At higher levels, i'll be able to cast Haste, fly, stoneskin, etc from a distance. Cast a buff spell on a buddy or a summoned dire bear, move, and attack with a fireball.

If that ain't interesting....

Rogue/Druid 1/3. Be the slayer for your local druidic circle. Once you start wild-shaping you'll be a force, those sneak attack dice add up. If you can get a level of Barb. the image of a Raging sneak attacking bob cat is priceless.

Heh. If you can get the stats for it, go for some sort of melee combat Bard -- you can have your healing magic, get some nuisance spells like Imp. Invis. and Glitterdust, use UMD and wands to fill in the holes (a wand of Divine Favor would rock, if you can manage it), and be a hit with the gents or the ladies on the side.
